Default Some pre-winter cleaning <specific for '97-99 Legacys, white face gauges>

Well, I came across these the other day while I was organizing stuff.

Looks like I've got a couple of these white face gauges left.

These fit '97-'99 Legacys, Legacy Outbacks.

I've got 3 left in mph and 3 left in km/h.

These were left over from the GB back in the day. They were $37.50US each; just want to get rid of them to a good home.

This is what they look like installed ->

$27.50US shipped/set. (mp/h or km/h)

coolbreeze - Does your '96 go up to 140mph or just 120mph? These are not backlit, only overlays. If yours goes to 120mph then yes they'll fit.

How much are you asking for them? I'd love some for my 96, which looks identical to those pictured. MPH of course.

EDIT: One other question, if you installed them on yours, did you have to remove the needles?

Bud Brown - check your PM's

Plays_With_toys - As long as your speedo reads to 120mph they'll work.

As above -> $27.50US shipped/set. (mp/h or km/h) [payment by bank cheque or money order; Paypal available plz add 3.5% -> $28.46US shipped / set]

When I installed them on my '98 L and '99GT, I didn't remove the needles. I enlarged the hole in the center to fit the entire thing over. You could remove the needles, then you don't need to enlarge the hole in the center.

aross - I'll see what I can do about taking some pics at night. They don't change the lighting (still green). However the ease on the eyes is much better during the day and night.

how do these install?

Edit: before you say it, I read GTBGUY's post above...are they sticky-backed or what?? If so, how do you make sure they're lined up before pressing them down for good? I'd hate to have to put water on my gauges.

From the pictures, it looks like they reuse the 2 screws the original faces use.
You probably just slip the new faces over the old ones, seeing as the light emanates from the speedo marks?

Combine these faces with Wiscon_Mark's DIY red-light mod, should be a nice looking interior! At least, much easier to see at night!
