Want engine mgmnt?
I sell ViPec's ECU's

Default Building a PGT rally car. What piggyback to use?

This will be 04 WRX. We can't change injectors or turbo

We are allowed pretty open exhaust with 1 cat and a piggyback. Please keep in mind that we have to run 32mm restrictor. Air box must be stock but can drop in K&N

Does any of those piggyback offer AntiLag?

Thanks

Greg

For Antilag you need full standalone like Autronic, GEMS, Link Plus etc etc Link Plus the most affordable

I thought that in production class you were not allowed to run anti lag?

The cars usually run the cat right next where the stock muffler sits.

IMHO don't bother with K&N you will be replacing the filters like your underwear anyway if it's going to see dust on rally stages, cleaning and re oiling a K&N not worth the hassle in a rally environment. Toss it out and stick in a new fram or OEM filter.

The production class cars I have come across use the ECUTEK reflash. The guys up here at Rocket Rally have off the shelf maps for 32mm restrictors and also have a dyno if you need custom work and have lots of experience building PGT cars. http://www.rocketrally.com/ They are the current NA Rally champs too! Might be worth giving them a call, ask for Pat.

No reason to piggyback. You can do plenty with the stock ECU. I use my own tools (openecu.org) to reflash the ECU on my '02 WRX rally car and my '04 WRX street car. If you don't like fiddling around with this stuff yourself, look into an EcuTek / Cobb ProTuner reflash from someone who understands rally cars and restrictors (e.g. Pat).

I've read somewhere that stock ECU supports Anti-Lag too, never seen it in action though. Interesting.....
