How well does Ecutek correct knocking??
Compared to other ecu (utec), does ecu correct knocking well??

if your knocking you have a problem, too little fuel, too much advance, too much boost.....correct it....
Ecutek is one of the best EM available to the market....finding a good tuner is what is critical.... |

when my car get tuned, my knock meter shows no signs of knocking. only very few times in high rpm, it detect knocking. so should i re-tune it??

it could just be winter gas causing a slight knock, the ecu should correct for winter gas....

Will EJ257 ecu turn to be safe mode when knocking after ecuteked?

EcuTek is no more then software used to change the OEM ecu tuning maps. That's all it is and will always be. The capability of the knock corrections to keep knock down is all a capability of the OEM ecu which is a very advanced system in design. This is one of the major reasons why I like flashable solutions for EM on our cars. If knock is detected in a certain area, the ecu will change the KC values it uses in that area and the knock will not happen again. Of course if the tuner that tuned your car pushes the envalope of the tune to the max and doesn't create a map that the ecu can learn and advance itself you'll have issues as well.
