Default hard to move doors

My front doors are hard to open and close. The drivers is really bad. I have lubed everything with different tyoes of lube and nothing works. Now that I have a commuter beater I only drive maybe 3-8 times a month. Is the lack of use creating stiff doors?

What type of lube did you use and where did you apply it? A good-quality spray lithium grease, applied into the hinges, should take care of this. The spray enters the hinge in liquid form and then sets up as a white grease that remains after the carrier evaporates.

Used what I normally put on door hinges, good white lithium, first and it did not work. Then used dry graphite, plain household oil, 30w, and a non-drying penetrating lube, and good grease. I put it on the hinges and the plastic bar thing. I have been trying to figure it out for about 6 months now. Is it possible parts could be warn or broken, and if so what?

I was the only one in my car every day (2000 RS) for a long time. T drivers door is still "loose" (in a good way) and the passesnger door is a bit stiff.

Someone recomended some spray, I have yet to try it out. Here is my thread on this
