Default 3:25pm : BRP coupe on Homer street?

it was parked infront of the starfish room with a female passenger sitting in it.

It looked like darren's car with the stromung and the yellow iclub stickers.

if this was you, please raise your hand.

Smile aaaah haaaa

that makes sence now,

couldn't figure out who's car that was. You doing business in that sector?

Yeah, I thought it was darren's car, but then when I got here he was online..... figured there was no way he could get from downtown to burnaby in that little time.

well... HI! I would of stopped and chatted but you weren't in the car and I was going to fast to stop right there!

Default Yes, that was not me....

I've got white i-club stickers on mine. You can also identify Petrie's car by its sheen and lustre. Mine is just dirty!

LaterZ!
Darren!!

Petrie -- you going through wing-withdrawl yet?

Opposite the Starfish is TAP Ventures office. I was not working today but went in to pick up July's dosh. Was it clean by common standards (it's not been washed for 24 hours, cann't be clean.

Did you see the black SVX 2 cars in front of mine? The guy who owns the SVX did a good job checking my car out. A few of us were watching from across the street.

I work in the Guiness tower everyday at the moment, so I take the bus into town each day. Jackie has decided to drive my car instead of the Dodge Caravan (there's no accounting for taste) so you may see a lot more of the blue mobile around the north shore and Burnaby.

We should take a poll, I want her to trade for the STI next summer and she only wants a WRX. Owen wants the WRX too cos I told him there's no way I would let him drive the STI when he's 16. WRX or STI, what do you guys think? For me, you can never have too much power. Whatever it is, it will probably be silver (and not white!). There's too many of those guys lately.

Just go for the STi. It'll be for the missus, but you'll have fun driving it at times.

As for your son, he could drive the RS right? Never let them start off with too good a car I say. Heck, my first car was a beater Cavalier, and I LOVED that baby.

I've told him he can race the RS at the autox but he cannot just take it on his own. that's why he does not want the RS and STI combination. Me and his mum want him to have a 1100cc banger. Something that cannot do more than 30kph up Cypress. .

Naturally, he thinks that it would be untrusting not to let him have the RS or the STI . For someone who cannot get off the computer when he should, how can I trust him to drive like an old fart when he's in an STI?

I learnt how to drive by getting the most out of a car that had no power. Drifting round corners at ridiculously slow speeds. Call me old fashioned, but it gave me skills that have kept me safe all these years.

Agreed. Glad to see there are still parents out there with good ol' fashion morals and rules.

Default Worst case scenario....

Petrie -- here's the "worst case" scenario for "you" -- sell your RS, and buy some old beater. That way, if he want's to borrow your car, he'll be forced to drive an old beater!

I learned how to drive between an '88 Pontiac 6000 (with like 160hp) but had scary brakes (one of the rear wheels would lock and send the car into a spin if you weren't careful), and a 70hp (not too sure) '82 Datsun 210 Wagon. The wagon was called the "funmobile" because it had no power anything, no working radio, no nothing! It was rear wheel drive though, so it was loads of fun to drive in the winter. My dad would stick snow tires on and load the back of the wagon with two LARGE concrete blocks -- can you say e-brake turns? I know you could!

LaterZ!
Darren!!

Sounds like a plan, Darren.

A Hyundai Pony comes to mind. Although apparently those things are rwd? Not sure...hehe..

Or a Nissan Micra or something...one of those old beaters.
