Default Cobb AP - Replace restrictor hose too?

The cobb web site has instructions on replacing the the restrictor hose. I know this is easy, but I didn't know that it was needed for the AP install. Any info?

Edit: Never mind, I just read that it was in case peak poost does not reach target of 14.7 for stage 1.

That does not even apply anymore. That was back in the AccessECU days.

It does still apply. To clear up any confusion:

If you arent hitting target boost, the restrictor hose can be the first thing to check. Often the hose will be modified or in poor condition, This will cause the car to deviate from target boost.

The AccessECU Re-flash has the same behavior as the AccessPort maps. The only difference is that the user can control the map being used on the ECU.
