ok i have a 02 and i just put a turboxs stg 2 piggyback ecu on it(got it for a $100 from a friends wrecked car)ok i have had a cia, exhaust, mbc, and down pipe for a while and do cel codes, but as soon as i put the computer in it when off to the always returning cel p0171(system to lean).im pretty sure that is my cia, unless you know of something else it might be.and one more thing is that the car stumbles really bad at take off now and stutters during acceleration.any suggestions would be great, thanks guys!
should i remove the mbc, could it be interfering with the piggyback ecu?

I'm no expert, but unless you're specifically tuned for a cai, get rid of it. The mbc should probably go as well.

The lean is VERY likely due to the combination of the MBC and CAI. Get rid of both.

I don't think the mbc is the problem. Like you said, it's probably the cai. If you still have problems after switching the intake back to stock and resetting the ecu, ya might also wanna clean your maf sensor, make sure your o2 sensor is workin normally, and change your fuel filter if it's been a while since you did that.

peace

the mbc probably isn't what's causing the code but ptfb's a mother f**ker... def running lean during cl fueling...

that, in combination with teh cia... less than stupendous

ditch em

If this is a unichip, you need the MBC. DO NOT TAKE OFF THE MBC
