Default LED DRLs on Audi A8 W12.

Well it's late at night and I was browsing Ebay and I saw this.

It looks to me that those are LEDs for the DRLs. I didn't know that car companies were already using this technology. I read that they will soon develop LED headlights, but I guess Audi/VW wanted to be on top by creating these. pretty cool IMO.

It looks like the cornering lamps also use LEDs.

It's interior looks so rich and luxurious but too dark [German all black interior] for my taste. I rather get a S600 or S65, gotta love those twin turbo V12s.

as someone else said the Q45 doesn't use LEDs, but the A8 does use LED DRLs, says it on their website

They are supposed to make a 'scrape' sound as you get near, against or on the curb.
Nobody cared about rims and tires then as Caddies and such ran on steel rims with hubcaps and 80 series biasply tires.
The curb feelers above though probably don't work so good as the tips are plastic where as old school original versions were metal.

Yeah but low riders still had the gold Daytons that were worth more than the rest of the car, hence the need for the curb feelers to keep them from scraping that or the body of the vehicle on the curb.

Some lowrider folks scrape the car on the ground (frame with drag plates) on purpose for effect and sparks.
But yeah curb feelers are for feelin the curb while parking hence the name regular people/cars and lowriders too.
