Default USDM STi injectors in USDM WRX

I was just wondering if I put USDM STI fuel rails and injectors into a 03 USDM WRX, will they work? I got some information that it is the fuel rails that decide if the engine uses top feed or side feed. Can someone please brighten me on this please?

Thanks

no they wont work, the mounting points for the fuel rails are different you would have to swap over the engire intake manifold/fuel rails to get it to work.

no they are still different, wrx is still top feed, and sti is still side feed. I asked the question because I heard that side feed is better, and I can get USDM STI rails and injectors cheaper than JDM pink injectors
