Default Everyone teach DrDRum how to use the ignore functionality

Evidently he'd prefer to whine about it instead. I didn't think it was a very difficult process, but I've been proven wrong.

Last time I checked...people were annoyed with you far before I started posting about it. If you doubt it...I'm sure I could repost some photochops to remind you.

so wait, are you implying that you're ignoring him, and thus can't read his post? 'Cause if so, you're not doing a very good job of the whole ignoring bit...

I have no idea what he says, I just know that there's always a post within a few posts of mine in every thread.

i thought i was on ignore too ... but you've directly addressed things that i've posted since then, so i'm guessing that you play fast and loose with your ignore list, if you truly put anybody on it at all.

Eh, I give people about a month or so. I think he's the only one left at this point. You'd think that he could master such a simple concept, if I truly annoy him. I guess he likes to be annoyed.

This brought to mind the image of Dark Helmet making faces at President Skroob behind the mask in Spaceballs.

so ... you eventually give in to your own curiosity regarding what people may or may not be saying about you and remove people from your ignore list so that you can find out?

No, after about a month or so I check to see if they continue to flame. If not, I take them off the list.

No, I'm implying that if someone is annoyed by someone else, isn't that why the "ignore user" function is there?

What I don't get is that when he's IM'd me (and it hasn't been often, so I may be off-base), dickmo seems like a decent enough person. Kind of bland, but still normal and relatively considerate/nice. Then, he gets in OT and trys to act like some other person - the tough guy, I'm the best, I'm always right, guy. I think it's an act.

I think we're all playing into it and we need to stop.

The only reason for one to use the ignore function is because one has yet to grow a bigger brain and/or thicker skin.

You mean you can just ignore somebody instead of started a thread trying to flame them...how interesting.

Do you try to be a hypocrite, or does it come naturally?
