looking to get utec
the abliity to switch maps is a deffinite plus for me.. as in time i will be using alch injection... no i read about firmwair or something vers. 5? well my question on that is what version do u get when new? and ever time i have to update the ecu(sorry if using wrong terms) do i have to have car dyno again on all 5 maps ?? sorry i dont kno much and yes i read the stickys

ok.. where do u save them ? on a laptop?? and how do you liek yours any problems or anything?

I am very happy with my UTEC. No problems and lots of support on here and over on wrxhackers. Also had great aftersales support from TurboXS. You can datalog on your laptop and store/edit maps there too.
You need to be handy with a screwdriver and have basic computer skills to install one. Check out the user manual to get a feel of what it can do. You can download that from the link I posted. yoU TEC - if you dont plan tuning it yourself or dont have a tuner close by, or no use for data logging/using solenoid outputs etc, i'd go with something like ECUTEK instead. |
