Need new ideas! Differences in cold/warm running?
I'm basically at a standstill in trying to figure out what's up with my car. It runs clean when it's cold, but once it's up to temp, the top end is completely gone. See this thread for detail.
What are the differences between cold operation and up to temp? Differences in the OLF/CLF system? Does the ECU not use the front O2 cold? Could fuel trims out of whack be screwing me? Any sensor in particular that could be failing when heated up, or that isn't in use when cold? Cracked VF39 getting hot and sucking? Without just digging into the car and aimlessly throwing money at it, I'm trying to generate some ideas.

The stock ECU doesn't use the O2 sensor when cold or when passing a certain threshold when warm (based on rpm/load) - which is, of course, open loop. I don't know much about UTEC and whether it takes over when the motor is cold like it does warm. If it doesn't, then this might explain your problem - something wrong with your particular UTEC tune.
