Default Warranty Work at Continental Subaru

Up till now, I had heard bad things about warranty claims being denied. I had heard horror stories such that I had not taken my car for the recall notices either.

In the past month or so, I took my vehicle into Continental Motors and had some warranty work done and they also took care of the recalls. All of the work was done under warranty and cost me zero.

I would like to thank Phil for his efforts in scheduling in my car, getting the rental (paid for under warranty) etc. I would also like to thank Jerry for the work he did to my car.

I am quite pleased. Not only will I continue to let them work on my car but my next car will likely be a subaru.

Thanks Jerry and Phil!

i agree 100% with what your saying, is all i had heard was bad things regarding continental motors, but after dealing with them, meeting majority of the people there, and seeing the way things really work it is completley different. I know my car is in good hands there, and the mechanics are great as well. Thank you continental motors and employee's

What you don't know is that Jerry took pictures of all of your mods, and sent them to the Subaru Warranty Director for the Northwest United States.

Actually its the people that say that and believe that continental is out to get you, that get their warrenty claims denied. If you use respect and honesty, it will get you a lot farther with them

Not sure if it just depends on the dealer or if they are all in together, but the Subaru dealer up here in Fairbanks did my brakes a few months ago, and I was informed by a friend who also works there that the mechanic went through my whole car and recorded all the MODS he could find into their computer.

As a result, I most likely won't be returning my car to the dealer for any work.

I have nothing but good things to say about Anchorage Continental Subaru. I've had warranty work done before and they did an excellent job.

I haven't had tranny or engine problems, but on the few issues I did have in other areas they were on the ball.

The complimentary van system was pretty bad a couple years ago, though.

They did a damn good job on my trans back in July. Nothing but props from me, except their parts dept doesn't know blinker fluid from muffler bearings from that oil cap looking thingy that says 710 on it.

yea the parts department is a little on the slow side. it strange when you have to ask a service rep whether they carry a certain tire. Or when you know the aftermarket products they are bringing in before they do
