I've been to Pukekohe! That's where the race track is, no?

And Hamilton is a ****hole, don't bother with that.

New Zealand could be a place to look at as well. I was just researching this myself a few weeks ago for the fun of it. They need young people that have technical skills. Gaining permanent resident status is not as hard as you would think. They are selective about who immigrates into the country (helpful being an island) but you can take an online test to see how you stack up. Our dollar is strong to thier currency and house prices did not look too bad. Never been there but it is supposed to be stunning.

I found a good bit of information here.

http://www.immigration.govt.nz/nzopp...s/unitedstates

There is a guy who moved there with his wife and started a site to help fellow Americans through the process as well as describing the country and day to day living. Naturally now I cannot find it, but there is probably similar info out there.

Awesome pics btw.

Yeah, Pukekohe is where they have the track the V8 supercars run at every year. The redeming quality about Hamiltron is its nightlife, and cheap(er) housing. Auckland itself is a beautiful city, but a lot of the people there are asses. I prefer the more laid back people you find away from the city, but that's just me. I'd rather be out in the middle of nowhere and enjoy the sights of NZ, so the South Island is my favorite. How long were you in NZ for WagonMonster?

rogue-

My best friend moved to Sydney in January to pursue a Master's degree. I imagine it's a bit easier for Canucks as Australia is part of the Commonwealth (or some ****, I dunno), but if you have any questions in specific about what it's like down there for a North American, PM me and I'll forward them to him.

Yeh and in NZ u can import cars for peanuts, no joke. They are insanely cheap. Think evo 6 for 20-30k.

Gotta remember NZ is pretty small and its colder though.

What do you mean we "basically" speak the language? i speak better english than alot of seppos would, or do you mean "american" i always laugh when i hear that "i speak american" so is that french or spanish or jive i dont get it.

hehe just messing around

Oh and Jhonny is alot smarter than bush but he still stands for the same things anyway.

Not sure what those commonwealth rules are. If i was going to move it would be Canada though.

"Colder?"

The weather in Auckland is like the weather in Los Angeles.

Maybe it's just too hot in Australia.

But yeah, NZ is a JDM wonderland

Did WagonMonster go to Rally NZ?

When I get back over there I will have to snap some pictures of my boss' 22B and his 2000 WRC replica. Last time I was over there it was for 8 months, this time I'll probably stay for at least a year. I wouldn't say the weather is cold in Auckland, just really rainy some times of the year.
