Anyone goin to Englishtown tomorrow for Street Wars 3 Imports Vs Domestics? I am probably going down with a few friends (vette guys) and was looking to expand the subaru crew.

I'll be there in a red XT6 (Subaru). I'm old school and the newer and older scoobies don't mix and match. I love all subarus. I'll probably be back and forth with the SVX crews and Impreza 2.5RS/WRX/STis wherever they may be. I'll be in the street stock class.

My wife just made fun of my XT6 and said it shouldn't be in this event because it says 'High Tech' imports.

Hope to see you there...I will be leaving CT at 7am to hopefully be there for tech by 9am when they open. When I went down for the WRX/EVO shootout I was first in the run line and ran the 1/4 3 times in the first half hour! That was more runs then I got sitting in line for the next 3 hours!

Tell me about it...I drove down from CT...got lost...showed up at 9:25 and waited in line for about 40 minutes only to get up to the gate and they told me "sorry we already have sold the 500 max tech cards for today so no more race cars are allowed...only spectators" What a waste...I guess it was still fun, but I def wouldn't have made a 2 hr trip + tolls+ Admission+ time only to watch. I have some good pics and will post them as soon as photobucket is back online.

Yea I was amazed that they sold that many tech cards in such little time. But I think the 45 min wait I had in line just trying to get in was the worst.

Got some pics from Street Wars 3 this weekend. We had some suby love there but not all that many. I showed up at 9:25 only to wait in line for 45+ minutes to be told they were all filled up and I wasn't able to race

If anyone wants me to take their pic down just let me know. I'm sorry I am not good with photo editing so the plates are showing (but hey...if they were showing at the track and you signed in there why not here

i'll start off with me This is as close as I got to the track Sunday

WHAT How the hell did an STI lose to a jeep Either the STI guy like many others couldn't drive or that jeep had a built motor and a whole lot more! WOW

I'm leaning towards the guy not knowing how to drive the STi. If you noticed alot of the all-wheel drive guys had bad take offs cause they boged out, meaning they don't know how to launch their cars..

The Jeep ran a 13.4 and I believe the STi ran a 13.5, the jeep was not a new one with the hemi, it was an old body style, just modified I guess. The day was nice, lots of cars, when I got there I could barely find a parking spot. One thing, I have been to the track many times, and I have never seen so many cars not make it down the track... must have been something in the air...

humm no hemi...wow I'd be surprised. But I guess as time goes by and technology gets more advanced slow cars or trucks will be fast. Heck look at those small '79 toyota's running 9's..I wonder what subaru's will be doing in the future?..
