STi y-pipe on wrx stock IC

Hey i searched, got nothing so here it goes.

I recently bought a STi y-pipe....does anyone know for sure that it will fit onto a stock wrx IC???? Thanks

I doubt it sence the I/C are different sizes
But give it a shot, tell us how it went.
Why put a stock piece on a stock piece?

the Sti stock y-pipe is metal, when the stock wrx is plastic and non smooth on the inside..

The red L shaped hose will not fit because it is about 1.5" too long. The cast Y piece should fit though. This would be a good upgrade, especially if you got it cheaper than the Samco pieces. Make sure you really tighten down all the clamps though or you will leak boost like mad.

If it the US STI Y pipe then I don't think its that much longer. The Y pipes are interchangeable as the IC inlets are the same size and spacing apart. Your only problem maybe the connection to the turbo.
