Any way of getting one of those links of the video to work again? I am just curious as to what it looks like, no big deal if you can't get the vids.

Hmm... would be neat if I had a hydraulically controlled semi automatic transmission. Since I don't, I can keep it sorted with a normal gear lever.

Exactly... who's having a problem remembering what gear they're in? And any experienced driver won't have a problem knowing what rpms they're spinning either... oh well. Nice toy though.

actually no. I've been building one because a lot of times when im driving I have to either look down at my shifter, or take my hand off the wheel to feel which gear im in. kinda gets annoying.

a gear indicator would be nice for **** like that.

a) This thing is cool because of the portegay said.
b) Its cool because if you are doing video, the person viewing doesn't have to guess which gear
c) Its cool because it has a shift light.

For teh win. I'm really tempted to get one just for the in car video part.

I can understand that, I still can tell what gear I am in when just cruising down the road and usually have to shift out of 6th and put it back in to make sure
