Default Japan Spec. taillights

Does anyone know where I can get the Japan Spec rear corner taillights for my 2000 Legacy?? The ones I'm talking about are clear and red. The US version have the amber and red corners.

I have been trying to get clear taillights for my GT wagon for awhile now with no success in site. It has been about 4 months for the search.

I have a suggestion on how you might be able to do it.

The RSK B4 is now available in Australia. Go to the Subaru Australia website http://www.subaru.com.au look up a dealer and call them. Try to get them to ship to you. Just a thought!

I was in Australia earlier this year and bought some Impreza parts there.

Just a thought.

Thanks, I'll try that.............this wouldn't be a problem if we had the B4 available to us in the states. Oh well.........maybe something like it will come along down the road. Every other car in Legacy's class is getting lots more power. 200 hp is base for a lot of manufacturers. Subaru better start listening to what people have to say on this board. All we want is more power in our Legacy's. The car is beautiful but it lacks any real power. It's a 4 cyl. for gods sake. Give us a turbo, supercharger.........anything to get us moving past the herd of Honda's and Nissan's.

I have a set JDM tail lights and center section on my 2K wagon. You do need all three pieces to make it look just right. I got the center section from Ryan at Irvine Subaru. He has some connection to get used parts from time to time. Might give him a try! I will get you the part numbers for the tail lamps but they don't work in the US Subaru parts system. I tried.

Please post the part numbers. The US part number lists have been updated and I show that those few B4 part numbers I have do come up at the dealership. Even the version 3/4 WRX bumper (go figure) I too would like these tails new or used for my fiancee's Legacy, it is needed. Also if you can get me the part number for the B4 front bumper please help me out I really need that one.

Thanks greatly,

Jon

A <i>little</i> ricey? A <i><b>little</b></i>?! The only thing ricier would be to put on those classic 'clear' (<i>frosted</i>) taillights.

Some cars just don't look right with the 'Altezza' tails. I fully expect that all Subies fall into that category.

Now, if we could set up an overseas trade w/ a Japanese club -- assuming that they'd want the amber lenses. . . 'Cause, man, I'd sure love to get a set of the JDM tails for my wagon.

it's kind of funny. in one of the japanese hyper rev legacy mags, there's an article about putting yellow/amber film over the tail lights to make them look usdm.
