Thumbs down NJ: Wayne Subaru

Stay away from Wayne Subaru at all cause. I went there last week negotiated a price on a 2006 Subaru WRX. Went there to pick it up today and they told that i wanted a 2006 Subaru WRX TR. Trying to make me pay for the price of a regular WRX and get a TR model instead. My salesman is Alan Cohen.. stay away from that sneaky old man.

Strange.. I don't know about any of the other sales people at Wayne but at least one of the sales people at Wayne are Nasioc members. If you want to give them another try, give Billy Petrow a call at Wayne. His name here is RS22B. You can probably do a search here and find he's helped a lot of people.

I think i saw Bill there. Is he one of the younger guy that hang around in the showroom?
Well i wish they could earn my buiness that day. I got my check and ready to give it to them too. I just hated dealing with shady people. Well as of right now, i dont think i want to make another trip over to Jersey unless i get a really good deal. As of right now i'll probaly wait for the NY dealerships to stock up some cars and buy it from them. I dont mind paying them a little more if they dont play any games with me.

Billy is the young guy with short blond hair. Good luck on your quest.

Go back and talk to Billy. He'll take care of you.

I've never dealt with Alan, but I know that Wayne Subaru is a straight up dealer. Their service department is good too.

I think I went to this one a few weeks ago (dunno, lost the business card they gave me...gotta find that)...it's like 20 miles south of sayreville on the GSP right?

They seemed pretty cool, no pressure...I think I'm going to try to work out a deal with them soon on an 06 TR.

Wayne Subaru is in Northern Jersey. Closest GSP exit is 153.

Well, this is the first time I've heard a complaint about that dealership...
The Tri-State thread has practically all compliments regarding their service department...
