STI on TV. VH1's Fab 40 for 2006

This show is basically life styles of the rich and famous, ya with me? The show goes through all kinds of super expensive hotels, mansions, gadgets, spa treatments, 2 million dollar golfing and a bunch of other yuppy shiot. Then all of a sudden what do I see !?!?!?! A company that provides sick a$$ cars for you to drive as you wish. Its like a Hertz rent-a-car but with Ferraris, Porsche turbos, super fixed up 67 Chevelle AND 05 WRB STI. From the show:

Classic Car Club Manhattan Life time membership costs $55,000 And I QUOTE one of the guys that worked there "you don't join this club to drive a Ford Mustang"!!!!!!!!!!!

also no juvenile EVOS but they do provide a 05 WRB STI for there members to drive!!!

I love my STI...Its like im rich and famous!!

I saw this too (sad to admit). Funny how the STI was wedged in there between ferraris and shelbys.

I think the STI holds its own with all the cars they had. Its just nice to have a car that is considered "exotic".

How on Earth could a life membership cost only $55,000?

If that's true I will never buy a car again, and just keep cycling throught their inventory for the next 40 years or so.
Makes no sense to me.

and the STi is in there list on their site with photo!
ALthough, they said on the show a Mustang will not be found there! In the list of cars a Mustang sits right above the STi.

their car list isnt all the exciting, sure there is the sti and the shelby, but where is the lambos, the f430s, 360, f40, slr, m5, m6

Wouldn't they charge a good deal of money for every rental? I'm sure it's not "pay $55k and drive a Ferrari for the rest of your life" kinna deal.

STi's may not cost as much as Ferrari's and Porsche's but they can hold their own with them... As long as they don't smack any bling blings, then it's all good.
