just do a google search for it. You might have to register it. To do that, search google for "register msstdfmt.dll" and there is a thing that tells you how to do it.

BTW, V2.0 is comming along very well.

Well I promised Version 2.0 today so I guess i'll go ahead and release it this afternoon. Its not a radical change but there are tons of minor tweaks and various updates.

I'll keep everyone posted.

When using a new version is it ok to just copy the program and not the other stuff into my working folder for the program? This way I don't have to go through setting up the settings again. Did that the last two time with no ill effects.

That was ok in the previous versions, but for 2.0 you will need to re-do your settings. The way the settings file is totally redone and the some of the stuff is saved in different positions.

I DL'd it tonight and have been running it all night.

It seems very buggy. It's locked up many times (to the point where I have to kill it in task manager). I had to revert back to 1.9E to get a stable UTI going.

It worked for a while, but it locked up pretty consistently. Also, when it seems to take a long time to save the pulls. The wait arrow comes up and stays there for a good while (often never returning). There were some nice additions/bug fixed in 2.0, but the major problems stopped me from finishing my testing.

Also, if you try to select a logging directory, it blows up (this was in 1.9, haven't confirmed in 2.0).

Also, how do you change the "Target AFR" table? That is something that I'd like to do. 12.5:1 is a race gas/WI only tune. It makes that table and the delta tab useless when on pump.

I think that comparison is a powerful concept.

To change the TargetAFR table, just open it up in excel and change it. Be sure to leave it in csv format. If you dont have excel then you can do it in notepad, although it will be a little more tedious.

As far as locking up, that never happened to me a single time. The pulls save immediately when the pull is complete. Perhaps something is not right with your computer?

Lol! No, it something with 2.0, because switching back to 1.9 worked perfectly. If you'd like, I'll record the exact steps to get each one of the errors (there are many I haven't listed).

You have to remember, each machine is configured differently, not to mention the users use it differently, so it is entirely possible for a user in the field to expose a bug in a logic path that you haven't encountered. This is why for commercial software, we usually have 10-15 people test for weeks at a time.

But this is silly and overkill for freeware and you've done such an awesome job on the project, ESPECIALLY for not charging. I hope people who are using this daily have contributed some. I mean, at least buy the guy lunch!

I'll try to get you the scenarios you need to duplicate this.

You might encounter errors if you dont re-do your settings. It would be advised to use the UTI.ini that comes with the program and re-configure your setup. Some of the data items are stored differently and in different spots. If they are out of wack then perhaps that is why the program is crashing. If you are using your old UTI.ini file, the program WILL have problems. I can guarantee that for sure!

Each time I update, I delete everything in the UTI directory and re-extract the new software.

Ok well whenever you can get the program to hang let me know what caused it. I havnt had any problems so far with it so your settings must be different. Can you email me your UTI.ini file so I can check them?

Hi Jeff, I just played back a logger-1 STI CSV utec file and it populated all the AFR tables with 14.7. That could make for some interesting results for those using those tables to use map editor.

this is the log that did it

Thanks to you I found the mistake that causes that. I have not tested it with csv's but it should be the same. Also, if you are playing back an sti log, then you must have sti selected as your model or the log wont play back right. That might seem obvious but it could be overlooked. Over the next week or so i'll make some tweaks to put out a more stable version of 2.0.

Any chance of integrating LM-1 WB logging like MPS? That feature is really keeping me from using your software, 'cause I need my AF ratio in my logs. The STI UTEC doesn't even log the factory O2, so all I have is my LM-1.

Freon - I already have the basis for LM-1/external wideband in the program. All I need is somebody to email me a hyperterminal capture of one and then I can code it, but until I have that I cant code what I dont have.

Send me what you can and i'll finish the code so you can have your bridging!

Gotcha, I can certainly do that. I lost my LM-1 serial cable (durrrrr!) and just ordered a new one. As soon as it arrives I'll see what I can do!

Yea what...? Perhaps I'll release a 2.0 revision tomorrow with some tweaks, how does that sound?
