Default Does anyone have a list of the 2006 WRC reg's?

I am wondering what the main differences will be.

Skoda, Mitsu, and Ford have already been running the '06 cars with not much difference in stage times.

I have heard that there will be no active diffs, and there were rumors of a spec transmission etc.

Does anyone have a simple list of changes?

Thanks,
Dave

The spec transmission idea was shot down, or at least delayed. The Impreza would be essentially outlawed if that happened, since they are the only team that doesn't use a transverse mounted inline 4 cyl engine.

I also believe water and alcohol injection are also outlawed.

-Water Injection, banned
-Remotely cooled brakes, banned
-Active differentials, banned
-Wide(r) body designs, approved.
-2 manufacturer entry cars must be entered to score Manufacturer points
-Same rules on Superally and Car/Engine sealing.

The unitary ECU and Tranny (like mentioned above) was thrown out the window.

I think it's just active front and rear diffs that are banned. Center diffs are still active.

Skoda - I don't think they've brought out their '06 spec. I bet that it was hardly even '05 spec. Colin did a lot of testing on that car in the short time he got it and hopefully he'll run a car next season.
Mitsu - Widely know they've been running pretty much an '06 spec Lancer this season. SMRT move IMO.
Ford - Introduced the new bodystyle Focus (probably because Ford Europe was pushing them since the road going car is out over there) but I highly doubt Christian Lauroux (sp?) would have it dialed in enough to run it. If so, he did pretty good right out of the box. There'll be tweaks for certain.
