Default Neutral Safety Switch

Hey guys. I got a CEL of P7038 which is the Neutral Safety switch. Right now my reverse lights stay on constantly no matter what. I was thinking about bringing my car to the dealer to fix it under warranty, but I figure since I have a full turbo back system, they probably wont fix it since the neutral switch is where the tranny is and the DP is probably going to have to come off.

Has anyone had this problem, or changed the neutral switch before? Anyone know where it is on the tranny or instructions on how to change it?

Thanks.

Why donít you check to make sure the connectors are securely fastened. I had the same CEL and turned out the connectors had come undone. Especially considering the installation of the DP which may have interfered with the connector which sits right in the pitch-stop area. Either way you need to inspect it first thing. It may even be possible that the connector some how made its way up against the DP and might be damaged or melted (i.e. reverse lights on)..
