I'm a SoCal (Hollywood) Legacy. I've only seen a handful in my nine months of living here. I think this week my first batch of mods is going to show up (shipping from Japan is like gambling in vegas) ...anyone want to help put some of them on? I don't have a place to do it so I figured I'd have the guys at that place in Monrovia do it because they get rave reviews.

After I've got 'em all installed, I'm going to attend more of the meets and get-togethers.

I'm going to install a front strut tower bar, rear sway bar, and a cat-back exhaust.

The only mods I trust myself to install are a K&N filter and a few STi badges (I hear they are good for 9psi of boost!!! YEAH!!!)

lemme know if you are interested.

Default Sounds like an afternoon to me

Maybe we could get the scic guys together for an install fest. From my own experience all these things should be fairly easy to install althougt the sway bar might be a pain in the A, what do you think

I'm up for an install-fest. It'd be kind'a like Octoberfest, except no lederhosen or brotwerst (sic?).

Of course, this would make me even more impatient about my stuff showing up and I might have a nervous breakdown.

When It's all here, I'll post in this thread and we'll see if we can organise something.

the rear sway bar shouldn't be too bad if you're already under the car installing the exhaust.

Yeah, I'm definitly up for this and I won't flake out. As soon as the things arrive I'll update everyone. I just got notice that the supplier's supplier went to some rally in New Zeland and that is why the parts are delayed. Ugh. If I had a dime for every flake I've run across recently I'd be a millionaire.

Default How Bout Burbank?

Do I qualify as a So Cal Legacy Owner? Hehe Of course I do. I have a Legacy Turbo With RS badging. My project is going smooth. I'm transforming my Stock Turbo into a Legacy Turbo RS. So far I have the badges on, the floor mats and the RS checkered Interior. I can't wait to get a 2.5 Engine. I'm still looking into that. I just need to get a good intake.

Well, I'm sorry to report that the parts have not come and I've cancelled the order.

The guys at TRi tuning had unbelievably bad customer service and sent me false information about when and if my parts would ship. I finally got sick of it and called the credit-card company to get my money back, which hasn't happened yet...

When I do get the money back, I might have another round at getting the same parts from a different vendor. We'll see.

Regardless, I'll take a look at my "calendar" and see how Oct 21st looks.

monovich, sorry to hear about the delay in your order...but, at least you've got a car to drive. mine is in the shop for overheating issues. i believe i need to replace my head gasket. hopefully, that's the only thing wrong with it.

but, if you're looking for a cat-back, have you thought of going with a custom weld. i got hooked up with a magnaflow and 2.25" piping for around $250. sounds awesome. let me know if you're interested and i'll point you in the right direction.

Default I'm here too...

I'm in SoCal also, near Oceanside. I have a 97 Legacy GT, sedan (silver). I've seen a couple Legacys around, not many sedans and none that were tuned. I have a Stromung single tip exhaust and Weapon R Dragon intake with a K&N filter, other than that I've only put new tires on. Anyone else have mods? I hang out a lot on Saturday nights down at the Von's parking lot in Balboa, anyone else been there? It's like a car show there every night, I've been trying to get people from the i-club to come down and show their soobys, but so far I've only seen once, and RS. Maybe we should plan something.

Talking Nice...

How do the headers work for you? I'm looking to get those as well, and make my Stromung cat-back with 2.5" piping. Got any pics also? I like to see what the Legacy looks like lowered with the H&R's (which I will also be getting shortly) and 17" rims.
