Default WRX engine, and forged internals questions

These are rather odd questions, but I know someone here must know them.

Stock rod/piston material, and material properties (Young's, poisson, etc. well I'm sure they could be looked them up given the material)

forged internals material (When people want to forge an object, what kind of steel is usually used?) and material properties

Stock rod weight and dimension, stock piston weight.

forged rod and piston weights and dimensions. (Eagle's site says their EJ20 rod is 490 grams, Arias lists 370 grams?)

Thanks!

Out of curiousity, are you asking these questions to:

a) Make a decision of forged internals, meaning various vendors, to determine who makes the best parts?

b) Purely from engineering curiousity, determine these values?

c) Make a statement?

very very technical questions...

im sure crawford performance, axis racing, or gruppe-s could answer/help you determine what parts you would need to build an engine. I mean if thats what you are looking to do. Sorry i dont have the specs

it's B, purely out of curiosity. Good recommendation on contacting an engine builder; they sure as hell better know, heh
