Rally of the Tall Pines is this weekend in Bancroft Ontario. The Canadian championship is up for grabs. 15cm (6") of snow are expected the day before. Should be a good one.

I'd really love to check out some Canadian rally action but, can't do this one. What's the biggest Candian event of the year ? Maybe I'll work something out for next year.

Baie de Chaleurs and Tall Pines are the best and biggest Canadian events.

I'm only 2.5hrs myself away..... just a little closer than LSPR which I went also (16hr drive)..... BTW Christian, should have brought Travis to this event.... would have been good you guys there on the cdn events..... Robin |

ACP hasn't been in that car for a year. That's figuring into my picks. But I spoke to him on Sunday for about 20 minutes. He's definitely fired up and ready to go. Frankly, it wouldn't surprise me to see him win it overall. I'm pretty sure about the order of the other three, but he's a wild card.
Want to do ProPicks for CARS next year? I'd be up for it! - Christian |

if antoine's car is running right ACP wont touch him, unless he's eaten some magic go fast beans lately... Of course, I'd love to be proven wrong. This would be his first win, wouldn't it ?

Doug, if you are basing your picks off of tires, of COURSE ACP is going to win - He has a magic yoko tire for every strange condition.

L'Estage broke a right front spindle and hit a rock as a result. He emerged from A6 (the Peanut) sometime later on three wheels with his co-driver in the trunk for balance (ACP wrecked a tire on the same stage). So Thompson wins the Canadian title. But, Buffum still cleaned everyone's clock. |
