Default Bad window seal in freezing weather???

well, since our weather has been BELOW freezing, has anyone had condensation build-up on the INSIDE of the car? in my wagon, the rear windows have moisture on the inside. is there a fix for a tighter seal?

make sure that you don't have the hvac set to recirculate

(the a/c compressor probably won't run below freezing)

Yes. I have a small wind noise coming from the driver side window when it is cold outside. If I lower the window ever so slightly and then close it, the problem goes away. I never really thought to bring it to the dealer as it only happens when it is really cold (like last night!). Our frameless window design might have something to do with such problems.

My 01 2.5RS developed this problem. I bought my car in late Dec. of 00. Two months later, I had this issue. It really got bad when I washed the car and had water leaking inside(albeit in very small amounts). It ended up being a huge inconvenience as my dealership botched the job to fix it. First they just wanted to "fill it" in with that black gorilla snot stuff. That didn't work. Then they ordered a replacement seal for the whole driver's side, which took about two weeks to come in. Then when they did install it...the first time I rolled the window down and back up...gorilla snot all over the window. Took it back, they supposedly fixed it...exact same problem when I rolled the window down and back up.

It was eventually fixed...and I blame the dealership for the issues, not Subaru. If I were you, though...I'd ask that they agree to replace the whole seal initially if it is under warranty. Also, check the window's up/down function before leaving the lot. Unfortunately...I couldn't pick my car up until after 6:00pm when I had my problems, and I was working a M-F 9-5 job then. The local dealerships here all only are open 9-5, M-F for service...so I never got to talk to anyone in person and always had to leave the car again(with no loaners...until the last time when I almost exploded on a salesman).
