Default did the air box from an 05 sti change in 06?

just checking becuase a few places said that they dont have K&N drop in filters for an 06.

K&N drop in= complete waste of money. You will gain a whopping 0 whp from it.

you will gain some airflow, probably for about the first couple hundred miles. After that, it will flow LESS than a comparable paper filter, and let in expoential times more dirt while it's at it. Do a search for it, all the info is out there.

^^ that and it's more expensive too. I send out my oil for analysis and they also look at air filtration. The comments I get from the oil analysis place are usually in the ballpark of "very good air filtration." As the old adage goes, "don't fix it if it ain't broke."
