Default AutoX suggestions? Link to video of run

For the first right hand turn coming down the hill, do I need to brake sooner or just try and brake harder. Im pretty sure the ABS was kicking on a bit if I remember correctly, or I guess the third option, is that an acceptable amount of oversteer in the rear for that sort of turn? Anything any of the experts notice I'm doing worng? I got a really good rev matched downshift from 3rd to 2nd after the straight which I was happy with on my runs. I also noticed that sometimes I did weird things with my hand positioning that wasn't what I had planned on doing.

here it is:

Looks good...I'd recommend getting back on the gas sooner in some places...looked like you were too fast into come corners...I'd work on speed regulation alittle...

Grip is always faster than drift...but sometimes a little bit of a slip will be faster thru a tight section than trying to drive thru it with 100% grip.

Also, in the section you went to 3rd...I would downshift while in the braking zone instead of almost at the apex, you need to already be back on the gas at that point.

Otherwise, it looked good.

I have since then gotten prodrive springs, so that should help with accelerating sooner out of corners without pushing as much.

Yeah, I see what you mean about the long straight in 3rd, the only thing was that the turn was embanked and by late braking into the incline I was able to brake quickly but maintain a higher speed much longer. I was probably doing 75mph if I have my gearing correct in my head, and I should be able to cover more distance faster at that speed than on the little downhill straight afterwards, no?

If I go back to batavia anytime soon I will try to get the downshift sooner while braking much earlier so that I can get back on it sooner and then brake sooner for that right hander that got my back end a little bit scream-ish. I wish I had a quicker stearing rack for the right-left combo right before the finish, thats a lot of quick hands.

Its a wrx. I guestimate that 3 seconds in 3rd at WOT going downhill has to be 75, but I may be wrong.

Can't really tell from the video how close you are to the cones or which way the course goes.

For the most part, the cones were placed on the rumble strips with exception of a few corners. The owner of the track throws a fit if there are any tire marks on the grass, so a single tire off tarmac was ruled an off-course. The two corners that my rear tires howl at me were corners where the cones were placed one to 1.5ft inside of the rumble strip. Yeah, I had to compress the video a little bit to have it hosted so its difficult to see the cones.

The course is basically 1 1/4 laps. Im starting pulling out onto the long straight-away just after the downhill into left turn 1. After that U-turn you go downhill into a double apex right hander with the second right much much tighter radius than the first and decreasing radius so you have to stay to the outside longer than you anticipate. Going uphill you have another left hand U-turn which exits downhill into a straight half the length of the long straight just long enough for me to top out 2nd gear. There is a left right chicane, the left is the one where my rears howl at me for the second time. There are two left handers going into the far corner, the first one is full throttle and the second one is 90-degrees. The 90-degree leads onto the long straight past the start line entrance just to the left and back into turn 1 left again. Hit the double apex right hander, and at exit of the right hander is a hard left with finish line. Full stop was required due to cross traffic and only 5ft of stop room before crossing the short straight. That may give you a better idea of the big picture, or may just confuse you a little bit more, hope it helps.
