Default Tokico DSpec struts and springs

hello
i have many mods on my car and now its time for suspension.
i have been doing a search on these springs and shocks for a while now and i cannot find a thing. they sell these springs and shocks off ebay and they look pretty good. I just want some input and see what you guys think about this combo. the price is good, but how is the ride. anything would help. bad or good.
heres the site
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKIC...spagenameZWDVW
thanks for everything

........well.....they should just bolt right up 'cuz the only real physical difference between '02-'03 and '04+ WRX suspension is the rear tops.....and since the struts come with tops that are supposed to fit the GD Impreza........done deal.

.....the issue, really, is spring/top fitment to strut....not strut to car.

fitment is not really the issue here.
if you have any experience with these let me know what you guys think.
how is the ride for daily use?
thanks

...the AGX's are OK....but all ya get is 'click-click-click' and if your spring rate happens to be inbetween 'clicks'....you are SOL...mine are between 3 and 4.....so I figured I'd try the d-specs, that have more adjustability, and see if they were better.

If not....AGX's go back in and d-spec's FS

I was a VW guy for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOng time. We sold the name in question. If you want to know about this, go onto the VW forums and ask the old schoolers. They go back over 10 years. Just some good info for someone trying to make a good decision.

they should be good......tokico is a great suspension company that gets overlooked frequently. i too am very interested in a review of these for wrx's as there isnt many of us running them.

I'm not sure about the D Spec dampers, but I've heard the regular Tokicos with blue tubes can leak. Both of the cases I heard were on friends cars ('97 Eclipse and '00 Civic Si) and they're the only tokico users I've known. Maybe Tokico does make good parts; maybe my buddies are just unlucky.

in most cases the tokico blues leak because they are paired with stiffer then recommended springs. The blues are known to be "a bit better then stock"

Sorry to bump an old thread but did you ever end up buying these off ebay? i've been eyeing a set but haven't heard much of anything about the strut/spring combo.

Uncle, your set of struts still keeping you happy?

I ran a set of d-specs for several months...9 I think. Loved them. Ran them with Tein H-techs at first and then Espelir GT's. GT's match so well...beautiful ride and handling. I used them with the stock '05 rear tops and RCE front camber plates. I also fab'd up my own spacer for the "washer mod". No noises, no problems, just an amazing amount of adjustability to go with just about any spring you want to run!

Default Dspec's

Just bought 4 of these today w/ Eibach springs. Looking forward to it, being my first suspension upgrade for my 02 wag-wrex.
