Default Hydra Question.

Does anyone know if the Hydra has an input for an External map sensor?

I know it comes with the 3 bar sensor built in, but I think I'm going to need to run a 5 bar sensor.

Thanks
Brad

Unfortunately there is no external output. The on board is a 3 bar sensor. I also looked into this as I didn't want to run the vacuum line into the cabin, but nevertheless ran it as recommended by Phil and Hydra EMS.

Hope this helps.

I wouldn't bother up to about 35 psi but if you want to run 36+ psi then yes you can wire in an external 5 bar map sensor and configure the Hydra to recognize it.

Keep in mind this will require significant remapping of the fuel and spark tables.

Thanks,
Phil
