Default Thank you!

We've been pretty amazed by the response to the news that we are shutting down. We'd like to sincerely thank everyone for their kind words, advice, and support. It honestly makes us sorry to close the doors.

While it is the recent influx of "difficult" customers that has been, perhaps, the final straw so to speak. On the whole our customer base has been exceptionally cool to deal with...well informed, patient, and just downright nice people. I can easily come up with a 100 or more names of "regulars" whom I wouldn't hesitate to spend a weekend hanging out with at an autox, rally, or even just a Scooby meet. And a lot of those customers have chimed in on my first post with really nice things to say. I think that these people have really defined what being a Subaru performance enthusiast is all about.

I hope that no one came away with the impression that we are closing because we don't like our customers, or even the "i-club" regular (just don't tell me what your "handle" is...I don't care )...that is not the case at all. There are quite a few underlying issues...financial, personal, and otherwise...that are the real basis for our decision. The recent bad experiences just finally put everything into perspective. And the truth is we are closing the shop and taking a break so we can re-evaluate what we want to do. I can tell you for sure that every one of us will be involved in the Subaru community on one level or another for a long time to come. And don't count RalliSpec as a complany out completely...we haven't ruled out reviving it after a short hiatus, perhaps in a new improved (and more stress free) form.

Thanks again!

I drove an hour and a half to get a sway bar from you guys, it was pretty late on a thursday night, a long time ago!, talked with Dave, he had no problem stopping to chat while he was making the harness for adam blooms ver 4 motor, that was a treat to see that. Thanks again. Viva la Rallispec!!! , does that make sence hehe. Best Wishes guys. Good people last, bad times don't.

got any cheap parts laying around you need to liquidate?

Never bought anything from you guys, or any aftermarket company. but honestly know what you mean but the customer service end of it. Customers are not always right. And it only takes a few to ruin it for everyone. Bottom line is if you make a great product/ offer good service, you will be successful. We will see you next time around.

Good luck.

Unhappy Good luck..

I'm sorry to see things are not working out well for you guys. I bought the majority of my mods from you. UR pulley, front strut brace, 20mm rear sway bar and pipercross drop in filter. I never had a problem with the service from RalliSpec.

Hopefully things work out for the best and your business is back up and running soon.

Best Wishes

Sara

Thumbs up Muhahaha!

*Rubbing sweating hands together*

That still doesn't mean I won't pay you guys a visit Dave. It was your evilness (As well as Jorge and Andy) that told me to use the nitrous with the turbo in the first place. Things have been to content, boring and gray at home for me lately and I most indulge in evilness once again. Talk to you soon in person.....(not for work but just to B.S.). Besides, you guys love it when I buy you pizza during your installation breaks.

It was a sad day for the Subie community when you said you were shutting your doors. A top notch shop is not easy to come by and now there is 1 less. I hope everything works out for you guys. Perhaps we'll see you open your doors again. I certainly hope so.

Jeeze where have I been? I didn't even know you guys were closing down. EDIT: Ok just read that other letter. I know how you guys feel, we run a business from our home and at one time we were the only people that had certain products in America. Now other companys are catching on and we are losing too much business

Even though my only experience with you guys wasn't that great I would still buy from you again . Sorry to hear your closing.

Default Sounds Like...

A hiatus and then a measured return would be excellent. You guys have too many good original parts to let go. I hope you guys can work it out, but as other people have said your happiness is key. Doesnt make sense otherwise.

I agree with subysouth, and as I said in my response to your "letter" post, RalliSpec, here's hoping you make a return.

Only a shame I never got to buy anything from you guys...

Let's see, I need seats, lip spoilers, Ver5 suspension, mounts...

It was a pleasure doing business with you nice folks out of New Jersey. You guys had the OZ rims that i was lusting after for a LONG time.. and helped guide me along the way here and there with questions on the STi swap.
So a HUGE thanks for the parts , knowledge and knowing there was a comptent tuner albeit more than a few states away, but one of if not THE best IMHO thanks and you guys will be miss'd by the community.
Even though my car is gone, hearing you guys are closing is like luzin a part of my car all over again.
Thanks for the times guys
i wish ya luck in whatever you nice folks decide to do next.
thanks once again.

Dave,
I'm very sorry to hear you are closing shop. I really appreciate you being so generous with your time. My weekly phone calls during the time i was modifying my car i'm sure were a disruption.
I also agree with everyone else that you should remain in the subaru community in some capacity.
good luck,
Mark Tobin
