why do they squeak and how can i shut em up?

My driver's side windows squeaked when open and closing because it rubbed against that rubber seal at the front. I squirted some ArmorAll type stuff in there and it's fine now.

Use the silicone lube spray that tint places sell for lubing/cleaning tinted windows.

Graphite powder has always worked well for me with respect to squeaky windows. It costs about a buck for a tube of the stuff and you don't need much.
