It's probably already been posted but what the heck. If you can find me this engine, please feel free to give me a call. I want to swap it into my OBS.

I believe the Ferrari Testarossa was a Flat 12 as well.

Well I don't know about it fitting in an GC8/GDA, but maybe a dual H6 turbo conversion is more likely to happen first?? This thing is huge...

How about calling up Motori Moderni and asking for one? Shouldn't cost more than a few mil
Subaru had very little to do with making the H12.http://www.iwoc.co.uk/subf1.html |

Subaru actually entered F1 with that engine but that thing was absolute POS.
They never passed the qualify, not even once! Ditching F1 project and moving onto the WRC field was clearly the most important and the best decision they've made. |

Did you all read the specs on the engine? They used Champion spark plugs instead of NGK's. No wonder they didn't make the F1 qualifying field.

the engine looks like it could have passed specs.. champion sparks plugs are a bad idea, but you won't get booted from the circut just for that..
it put out enough hp to be competitive during that year.. Last edited by doripreza; 09-07-2001 at 04:11 AM. |
