Default questions on wrx/sti hybrid setup

hey guys,

i posted this in factory 2.0L powertrain too, but i haven't been getting any response, so i'll try here.

since i recently popped my motor, i've been looking at replacements. i have a nice deal layed out on an ej257 block with wrx heads and sti cams. i would be using an 02 ecu with a utec to run things with a 16g turbo. i know some of you guys are running wrx motors with an sti block swap, and i'm wondering if anyone has had any issues, and what these issues are... i've heard that this creates a very high compression motor, and people have had issues with popping them by running too much boost, running lean, running rich, etc. anyone know what compression ratio this ends up being, as well as optimal boost to be running? i'm buying this if i can't find a ver. 7 or ver. 8 motor.

i just wanted to clear some of these things up before i commit to this setup.
