Default Now that the holiday season is upon us, my favorite pasttime returns...

****ing with people in mall parking lots!

I absolutely hate how people will drive 2mph on your heels, following you all around, so they can grab a space without having to walk. Lazy bastards!

So, I tend to walk down the wrong aisle, then cut across to the next aisle over, where my car is parked. The sound of them speeding off in frustration fills me with yuletide joy!

Love thy fellow man, and drive him bat**** insane.

Happily, I can even do this out of season.

I take the train to work, and parking at the station is pretty tight. When I get home around 4:45, people are usually cruising the lot looking for spots. I'm far more sympathetic for them, because they usually have somewhere to go, and parking there really sucks. However, some are downright pushy, and they can go screw. I'll sit in my car for a half hour waiting for my wife's train to arrive, and people will honk and wave madly at me to leave, but I paid my $3 for parking. If they're polite, I don't mind.

i did that alot in college. parking lot vultures were everywhere. i'd walk down the wrong aisle for several minutes, then quickly dart over to the next aisle where another vulture was waiting for fresh meat. i'd also get in my car, turn it on, get comfy, load a good cd, adjust all mirrors, pretend like i'm shuffling some things around in the glovebox, and otherwise kill time until the vulture grew impatient and drove off in a fit of rage. made my day. and occasionally, i'd get in my car, sit there for a minute, then just before they drove off in anger, turn the car off, get back out, and start walking. the looks i would get... man i wish i had a camera handy.

Oh, the best is when people are only going to their car to drop off items they bought, so they can go back in and shop more. People get really mad at them.

My other favorite holiday dealie is now active!

I thought you were going to say "hunting sweater puppies." That's my favorite cold weather activity by far.

+1 for walking to, then away from the car.

People go friGGin nuts when they see you do it.
Too funny when they speed up to you b/c they just noticed you gettin in the car or opening a door....then they waitin excitement while you get some crap out of the car and promptly close/lock teh door.
In the mean tiem some one ELSE is takin a spot 15 feet away...

...they drive off with a W-T-F look on their faces

I love doing that shiz too. Sometimes I wander to my car...pretend like I'm getting in they put teh suprised expression on my face..."oh, I forgot something!" and head back to the store.

Perhaps someone in this thread already said that one. I didn't read 'em all. Oh well.

If ya really want to mess with them..

Get in the car, start the car, back up the car, pull back into the spot (parking perfectly in the spot this time), turn off the car and go back inside.

Careful you guys...i saw 2 guys jump out with baseball bats ready to brawl over a mall parking spot.

Toying with stressed out individuals is never a good thing imho.

...and if you do happen to get in your car, sit down, and promptly get out again...well guess what? That person you ticked off now knows what car you drive and where its parked. Dont get upset if you return to your car and find it covered in keymarks.

My friends dad, years ago used to get in his car and start reading a book until they drove off.
That was pretty funny.

I don't have anything planned this weekend. I'm going to the mall to try this out.

OMG Hyperbole Alert!

I'd never screw with them like that and leave my car parked, but if they get pissed because someone dropped off some packages and didn't leave, they're idiots who should try smuggling heroin to Singapore.

Besides, if they key'd my car, how can I tell those scratches from the rest?
