I know a lot of BMW guys use the HT10's for track days. I think the HT10's would work for the track for us. Friend has used HP+'s on his STi on a track day and has had good luck. I tried HPs's for a track day and they fell apart; definitely not recomended.

What kind of car do you have?

legacygt - but by the time I go to the track it will have around 330whp. I have racingbrake's bbk with hawk HPSs on now. I know I will need something more aggressive up front. racingbrake says you can match blues up front with the HPS on the rear pads. I don't know whether to try that or just HP+ up front. also can't find out what other pads are compatible with these calipers....

We run the HT10 pads front and rear with StopTech brakes on our Time Attack WRX (500 HP). The pads are excellent with a very high coefficient of friction but it requires a lap to get the best performance out of them. With a professional driver we actually boiled Motul 600 with this combo but the addition of StopTech Titanium backing plates resolved this. I think as a novice these pads will work very well for you.

These are racing brake pads, lots of dust, and they squeal like a pig so keep them on the track.

Thanks,
Phil
