Default best place to place oil line for press. gauge?

I'm thinking about putting some gauges in my 97 L' and i'm wondering the easiest way to tap into the oil system for pressure. i was thinking about one of those plates that you use for oil coolers that go between your block and oil filter, but i cant really find them anywhere. is there a better way? or do you guys know where to find those plates? also how about the coolant temp sender for a gauge, i know that they make blocks that you can put between two hoses that the senders can bolt into to but is there a better way? i havent really looked at my car yet i figured i'd ask you guys first. thanks

I think there is an oil galley plug on top of the engine block underneath the intercooler that people use for oil pressure gauges. I am not sure though, however, I would like to find out as well. Supposedly I am going to have one on my doorstep soon.

If you look at the documentation section at WRXtra, there are instructions for their oil pressure installation kit which shows you where the galley plug is. I haven't used it myself but it's something to take a look at.
