Ok thinking about getting a 17X8 wheel +49 offset for my STi.
Only problem is I will need a 3mm spacer to get them to fit past the brembos. Is this a good idea or am I going to have lug length issues...lol, bearing problems, or overall strength problem with this at the track/on the street? Also where is a good place to get 3mm spacers that are of good quality & a decent price. Thanks for your time. Matt

What wheel are you thinking of getting? There are several 8" wide wheels that fit the STi Brembo's. Rota Torque's for example.

Why can't you get that wheel in an offset that will allow you to run with out spacers?

posted in your other thread...
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=895160 If you can find 3mm spacers that are hubcentric, then I would think it would be OK. Personally I would want to keep as much thread engagement as possible, so I would pass unless they were practically free. |

Damn things only come in 18. damn 18s might of well be 20s an 18 IMO isn't a good track size or size for good tire options. Matt |
