Default loosen the hooks?

Does anyone have an idea how to "loosen the hooks to remove the defroster panel" ? im in the middle of removing my dash and im stuck


(02 WRX)

Just stick the screwdriver under there and pry away im assuming.

Use something like a dull butter knife, push it into the gap between the dash and the panel and gently pull upwards. I used the least pressure I could until I could get my fingers under. (your fingers won't gouge the dash, but the knife could!) It just pops up and slightly towards the rear of the car.
