What is he peddling? There is no price listed and he doesn't say "For sale" once.

All he said is that if you are looking for a good price on insurance to go to this guy.. because you might get a good deal.

It's like if somebody says "XYZ tinting company did a great job for me, you should check them out." He is not making money off the deal.

What do you get for being a lifetime member of State Farm? Do they envite you to the company Christmas partys?

I usally go for the best rate. You should always call around every few years. You can usally end up saving a few hundred bucks. I've used almost every insurace provider out there and have never noticed a differance. Other than price.

I had mutli car and homeowners insurance with State Farm and was getting raped a few years ago. I'm happy with progressive right now.....

Same here, got kicked out two years ago for home owners insurance. We were "more than welcome" to still insure our cars with them. State Farm can blow me.

Nothing personal

I was kidding. I could care less what anyone sells, pushes on Nasioc...

I'm more interested in him spilling the beans on if the agents have a range that they can offer a price to a consumer that falls in bucket A, b, C.....ect...., or if everyone that falls into the defined bucket pays the same rate

You're given a "rating" that determines what you pay on the scale defined for the item.

Well... If there is, I can't see how that would work.

*took a few classes in insurance and securities and was looking to get certified at one time*

I had State Farm for 5 years, and they jerked me around too... mind you this was back when I was driving the RX-7 Twin... and under 25. Even though I had my home with them and no claims they decided they could no longer insure me. Oh well.

Then I heard about the wonderful lawsuits about them using non-spec/non-OEM parts in their repairs. If they've gotten better I'd think about it... but I'm happy with Safeco/Lloyd's.
