Default Any Thanksgiving weekend Track Days in Ontario?

I'm looking to put my scoobie on a track on the Thanksgiving day long weekend (October 6-8). Anyone know of any clubs doing track days in southern Ontario that weekend? Any idea how I can findout?

Thanks,
-Pete

Click on the link below. It details the entire schedule for the Ontario Solo 1 & 2 events.

Sun 07 Oct 2001, Solo-2 club event-7 (CCCC) (Bronte Go-Station, Oakville)

This is the only event happening on that weekend. Ill be there, maybe you can join the rest of us.

I might,

I haven't run my car in a comp yet. I gotta admit its intimidating. I did a 2 day solo training course out in Whitby two years ago, but that was with a different car.

I checked out the solo event a Sherway gardens on the Canada day weekend. There was a sweet sliver legacy there, was that you?

How do I sign up for these events. Is it just a show up and race thing. What is the entry fee? I need a helmet too right?

Thanks,
-Pete

Hi Pete,

Yep that was me... I was the guy narrating on the microphone as well.

Did you have a good time?

To enter the Pro-Solo, you must have participated in these events before. Don't get too intimidated, most of the people are friendly, and advise is free.

Loaner helmets are usually available at the club events. Registration fees average about $20.00 CDN.

I see that you are from West Toronto... Why don't you show up at the Hershey centre tomorrow (Saturday), a bunch of Subaru people will be there participating.

Look for the Legacy GT with the ADR wheels, you'll recognize it. It's the same one from the Pro Solo.

Have you seen the videos?

Check them out, the're here:

Enjoy...

I'd love to be there tomorrow, but unfortunately I'm out of town for a mountain bike event. I will try especially hard to make it to the October Event. I have a friend visiting from Vancouver who races solo in his miata (first in case two years in a row). I'd like to see what he can do with my car. Is it possible to enter two drivers on one vehicle?

Thanks Again Joe,
-Pete

2 drivers in 1 vehicle is OK provided that the registered number are about 10 cars apart. Lots of people do it. Hope to see you in October.
