How come I can't update my pix??

In the members section, I was trying to upload my new pics, but it won't let me!! *** is up with that? :P Keeps saying that the pic isn't a JPG or GIF (which it IS!) or that the file contains spaces or special characters (which it DOESN'T!). Did you guys lock it out??
