Talking Push Button Ignition

I just ordered a Push Button Ignition for my Wrex. It will be here next week. I will post pics when it is done.

I got it through Nopi at www.nopi.com. It will work for any car. It was $70.00

neat. i love gadgets for my car.

So do you still need a key to put into the "ON" position & then you hit this button to start?

It'd be kinda neat to get a combination turbo timer / pushbutton ignition / voltage meter.

Yes you still have to put the key in and turn it to the on position. I loved this feature on the S2000 I test drove. It is also on the new Viper.

since you put the key in and turn it to the on position can you still just start the car with key with out pushing the button or the the key just stop at on and go no further

128d: Actually, the way I have it installed, you cannot start the car with the key. If you crank it with the key, you don't get any response. You have to push the button.

ssj: I installed mine where the lighter is, next to the ash tray.
