Default WRX Questions?

I might be looking on purchasing a WRX within a month and had some questions about what to buy from the dealer and what to get aftermarket. I really want the spoiler ( $395 ), short throw ( $260 ), and ground effect ( $1195 ) = ~$1850. Would it be better off for me to buy just the car for $24.5K base or add all these options at the dealer for $26K? If I get the exterior parts after market then how hard would it be to match the colors? I would also really like the rally spoiler that they use on TV, any idea on how much and where to get one? I am also looking to modify my WRX with internal modifications however I'm not planning on that until the warranty period expires. Would it be alot cheaper if I just got everything aftermarket and where is good place? Is red not a popular color because I want red and I have yet to see one in red? Is there a good place to get a deal on the WRX or are they still MSRP? Thanks.

If you want the rally type spoiler, then don't get the stock one, as you would just be removing it and adding another one. Wasting money. As far as the other options, it depends. Do you have a lot of money? Are you paying cash for the car, or financing? If you're financing and can't afford to spend extra money on aftermarket parts, then I'd say get the dealer to put them on. This way, the price of the part gets financed with your car. The downside is, it costs you a couple hundred more cuz the dealer price is insanely high. The upside is, you aren't dropping a couple hundred for a part here and there in addition to payments. And you'll be sure to have a good fit and/or color match if the dealer does it. If they do it and they mess up, you can tell them to redo it before you buy.

This the spoiler you are talking about?

There are a couple of different companies that make replicas of this spoiler. So you just have to look around. Here's one such company...

I don't know about their reputation, as I just did a search in Yahoo and got their link. They are from Australia, so they have to be cool...

Hope some of this stuff helps...
