Default 91 or 93 octane map for 92 octane?

?


92 is very common around here and not sure which map to upload for the cobb ecu.

I would use the 91 map just to be safe. Running 92 octane on a car thats expecting you to have 93 might make it ping, but probably not. The difference is small. I think a larger difference would be the quality of the gas your using, shell vs. chevron for example.

gas would be quick trip...or holiday, if that makes a difference.

I would err on the side of caution and run the 91 map. In desperate circumstances I was forced to put 92 in my tank (instead of my usual diet of 93) and I loaded up the 91oct map and everything was fine.. TBH I didn't really notice any real difference.

why even consider running the 93 map... 93 is a MINIMUM requirement
Find a local station or two that you can frequent with 93 on tap and you will be fine running that map, otherwise you are just asking for trouble
