My old computer had a racing stripe (it really did), I noticed a small increase in performance.

I must also agree that the new unit smokes... However, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I still have problems making searches work correctly. If I use the following search words "wrx sti spring* rate*" I get the error message: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 15 seconds exceeded in /home/httpd/html/forums/search.php on line 397
I can usually modify my search criteria but it takes a little longer to sift through the extra hits that are returned. Anyone else have this problem? Anything I am doing wrong? Thanks, Scooby Don't |

Yeah, I think it's a little faster. It's always harder to notice increases though. Now, slow it down a tick, and I'm sure everyone will notice.

It's faster... now my work connection seems up to par with the rest of the world. Before it was just DAMN slow from here. :-/
Still takes upwards of 15-20 seconds for a delete command to go through, though. *shrug* |
