Default Mixing 2 brands of oil?

I just recently changed my oil to redline 5w-30 in my 03 wrx and for some reason I can only find this stuff online.

Anyways, my car burns oil and I'm going to the track this weekend and want to make sure I have extra oil just in case.

Would it be ok to bring some Mobil 1 5w-30 and use that in case I needed to add more oil?

QUESTION: Is it ok to mix 2 different brands of oils that are the same weights?

IE: Redline 5w-30 with Mobil 1 5w-30?

You shouldn't have any issues doing that. It's completely safe.

You meant, the same weight, right?

It won't hurt your car at all.

woops, yeah, I meant the same weight.

what about doing an oil change with 10w-30 but putting in a quart of 5w-30 after 1500 miles?

You can even add it if they are different weights too.
