Default Genuine STi Embroidered Floormats

We have in stock quite a few (but don't wait- I don't expect them to last long) genuine embroidered floormats available for immediate sale at $65 plus shipping. These are dark gray/charcoal in color, come in a set of four, feature a fully wrapped edge, and the "STi" logo embroidered in Cherry Blossom Red (yes, we all know it's really pink ) at the outside edge. Pic below (very small at the moment, I know):

While these only fit 02+ cars perfectly, they fit the older 93-01 Impreza cars very well too. You can find them on many pages of our website, including this one

http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/04sti-interior.html

If you have any questions not answered by visiting the website (shipping is calculated by the shopping cart- add them to the cart and choose a shipping method), please feel free to ask them here.

I'm afraid they only come in the color shown (dark gray/charcoal).

Possibly, but I don't have any at the shop at present to try them on right now, and you guys are keeping me pretty busy with Christmas shopping . If they don't fit, I would take them back no questions asked, no restocking fees or any of that stuff . Hell, if you try it and confirm it works, I'll give you $5 back for the effort !

they dont fit that good. i have them in a '04 sti. i had to drill a little hole on the driver side mat so i could put it into that little plastic thing that sticks up. i would recommend either prodrive mats, or the blue sti mats. i wish they still sold the black/red sti mats. i think they are out of production.

Can anyone else confirm this, in the pics they look like they have a hole for the plastic thing on them already...

Also, how thick is the pile compared to the OEM mats?

Also, what does Genuine mean? Genuine subaru OEM or genuine replica? Or is it just the STi logo that is genuine?!?

I dunno- I test fit them in my 96 OBS, my 2000 RS, a 2002 RS on the lot, a 2003 WRX in the shop, and one of the dealership's 2006 STis, and they all fit pretty damn good IMHO. The mats have a hole on the left for the floor hook, and also feature an additional bracket that can be attached to the underseat subwoofer bracket (if installed on the vehicle) for extra assurance they won't move, though you don't have to use said bracket.

By OEM, I mean they are genuine Subaru, not some Singapore knockoff sold on eBay or whatnot .

Thanks brian, from the pics I see a hole there.

Splitsecond, why did you have to drill a hole? I am confused.

We don't as they were too easy to damage in transit- DHL kept ripping the ends off of the boxes

are these the sti mats from canada or are these different? i was under the impression that soa could no longer produce sti mats due to some copyright issue. i had my sister in canada order me up a set a couple of months ago and am curious if they would look like the ones in your pic.

The part numbers look like SoUK numbers, but I'm uncertain of exactly where they come from.

Sure, I can sell you the front two- they will be the same price and come with two free rear ones though . They come as a set of four in a sealed package.

Cool Genuine STi Floormats

I too have purchased these for my 2005 STi and think they fit very well and IMHO offer much better coverage than the OEM blue (non embroidered) mats in the front seats, but especially in the rear. The only complaint I have with these are that they do tend to slip around laterally due to the underside rubber nubs being much smaller in size than the OEM blues. The OEMs stay on like VELCRO! Which gave my the idea to remedy this problem by modding the mats with, you guessed it, some heavy duty self adhesive velcro (you can find it at most hardware stores) to the underside. It works great since the Suby's carpet acts as the "loops" portion of the velcro (velcro = hook and loop). I hope the adhesive stays in place for a while, and if they don't, then it's easy to replace with some new "hooks".

Also, I noticed that the true Canadian spec STi floor mats have an extra bracket on the passenger side that bolts into the seat rail and these offered by SubaruWRXparts do not. Don't get me wrong, I love these mats and feel they are a great deal for being genuine mats.

just my $0.02

Happy New Year!
