Default Bride Brix II.. can you use OEM seatbelts?

I just got a pair of bride brix II's and basically I want to do this...

street = oem seatbelt system
autox = i have a speedware harness bar and 3" sparco 4 point harnesses.

Please let me know my options... I dont' think I'm a fan (nor any of you) of using the harness bar and 4 point harnesses on the street. Thank you.

Of course you could use your stock belts with that. I thought this was going to be a fixed back race seat.

Pretty much keep the 4 point attached, but sling them around behind the seat when you're not using them. The shoulder supports should keep them out of the way.

Oh ok... I just wasn't sure if the seat would have a spot to let the female side of the seat belt bolt in. That's good then.

but also... I may just keep the harness bar OUT of the car for street driving because if I have passengers, I obviously don't want them riding with that directly in their path if I were to get in an accident.

The seat doesn't, but the seat bracket should have a hole.

It's like a rollercoaster back there. The harness bar isn't hard to take out it's just a hassle.

I just slide my harness behind my seat when not in use.

My rear seats are rarely used to transport people so having the harness bar back there hasn't bothered me.

My girlfriend on the other hand hates the thing b/c she cant recline the seat.

I've seen OEM Seatbelts used with Fixed back seats, (In an xA not WRX).

Keep us posted on how you like the seats, I need a seat that is more supportive then the USDM STi seats.

Yea... they gave me a great price on these to "make it up to me" for the turbo kit debauchle. Since I absolutely knew these were in stock and demanded that they be shipped on time... bad customer service or not I couldn't pass these up.

They haven't shut me up... I will continue to raise hell if they do not come through with the turbo kit,w hich was the start of all the trouble. I understand your point... I think you understand mine too... especially with something as expensived as Brides ya know. But I see where you're comin from. Something will be done with KP sooner or later........

Pics to come... only had time for fronts and rears... door panels are yet to be installed. But they are snug! great support and actually pretty comfy.
